Kewell Converters is a family business
that has grown out of a willingness to innovate. The
company began 30 years ago when we pioneered a technique
for manufacturing polyethylene cord that became a success.
Since then, we have developed other production techniques
in close partnership with leading foam suppliers.
As respected converters of industrial and technical
foam, we have always been committed to using the latest
technologies and materials in order to get the best
out of an incredibly versatile product. Thanks to our
strong engineering background, we positively welcome
new ideas for manipulating any of the foams, rubbers
and plastics we process.
Today we are a medium-sized converter operating from
a purpose-built factory in Redhill, 15 minutes from
Gatwick airport. Our clients include the Ministry of
Defence and the BBC. Around 70% of our annual production
is repeat business.
Our skilled staff maintain a wide range of high-tech
plant for routing, milling, die-stamping, splitting,
slitting, cutting, compression moulding, vacuum moulding,
laminating, welding, tubing, adhesive-backing, sealing,
strip cutting and water-jet cutting.
