Foam, EV/VA/EM Foam, PPA Foam, PU Foam, Polyester Foam,
EVA Foam, EPS Foam, PVC Foam, Polyethylene (PE) Foam - Expanded Polyethylene foam is available in a range of densities of 15kg/m3 (1.12lbs/ft3) to 120kg/m3 (7.5lbs/ft3) Closed Cell, Cross-Linked, totally CFC, HCFC and VOC free. Chemically inert and resistant to oils, solvents, dilute acids. Standard colours include White, Black, Grey, Red, Blue, Green, Olive. Effective replacement for rubberised hair, felt, neoprene, EPS, polyurethane, PVC foam, wood composites, mineral etc, where such features of strong colour, softness, uniform cell structure or chemical inertness or of importance in the end product. Evazote ® Supazote ® Polypropylene (PPA) Foam - Expanded polypropylene foam is available Cross-linked, closed cell- Expanded Ethylene copolymer foam is available Cross-linked, closed cell, totally FCF, HCFC, and VOC free. Chemically inert and resistant to oils, solvents, dilute acids. Standard colours include White, Black. Propozoteâ Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) Foam - Densities from Low, Medium and Hard. i.e .60 kg/m3 -220kg/m3. Shore Hardness (Type C) from 20-65. Colours are vast and marbled effect available in some grades. Polyurethane (PU) Foam - Open cell Expanded Polyurethane foam. Grades and densities to suit most applications e.g. Conductive, Combustion modified (CM), profiled and in a range of colours. Polyester Foam - Polyester based foams cover a wide range of densities and hardnesses. Bulpren ® Polystyrene (EPS) Foam - Expanded Polystyrene Foam. Wide range of Densities available. | A
continuous extrusion manufacturing process is used to
create the continuous rolls of expanded closed cellular
polymers to a predetermined thickness and width with usable
skin on both sides. This continuous process produces consistent
uniform material. A press-cured process creates expanded closed cellular polymers in a slab or bun configuration. The dimensions of the bun are predetermined by the size of the mould the product is cured within. Manufacturing has slightly better control of cell size in this process thereby being able to produce a tighter cellular structure than the continuous process. This process works well with a wide range of polymers. |
