Keith Gater and Brian Dedman retiring after over 60 years (combined) at Kewell!

Keith Gater started at Kewell over 40 years ago, when it was only him, Colin and 2 other chaps. The company premises were much more modest then they are today and in so called "cow shed" they only had one tubing machine, one vacuum former and couple of small routers.

Keith is convinced that it is due to his brilliance the company prospered and it is still going strong to this day. Unfortunately all good must come to an end and he said it is time for him to travel the world!

He is leaving us at end of September, a bit earlier than planned as he needs to take care of Lou who is having her knee replaced. (Lou is Keith's lovely wife who also recently retired having worked for us almost as long as Keith did) Good luck Lou with your op! We are still missing you a lot!

Brian who have been working closely with Keith is also very experienced "converter" and he has been with us for over 20 years. He started in factory in Redhill and from splitting and autopress he moved onto waterjet machines which he is working with today.

Brian is retiring at the end of October and he is planning to chill with his family until Keith is ready to accompany him on their new adventures.

Brian and Keith are keen travelers who already ventured to Vegas and New York together but now they want to go bigger! The plan is to go back to America and do Route 66, leaving the wives behind to enjoy their coffee mornings and shopping trips!

We would like to say a huge thank you to both for the pure dedication and commitment to be with us this long and making the company successful over the years. We wish them both all the very best in the future and hoping they will keep in touch and share their exciting travel stories.
