Production Administrator~Purchaser~Mfg Engineer

Job Title: Production Administrator/Purchaser       (Issued 10th Nov. 2017)

Purpose:

o    support sales, clients and factory production with pre-production administration and purchasing in a batch manufacturing environment, to ensure client and company requirement are met.

Responsibilities

o    work closely with & support production and sales teams.

o    pre-production administration generation/organising.

o    liaise with clients, sales admin & production on queries.

o    liaise with sales team/production information requests & updates

o    stock/material management, sourcing and purchasing

o    manage subcontractors/outsourced purchasing

Key Skills:

o             pro-active, confident and well organised.

o             practical capacity to understand design and manufacturing concepts is essential

o             basic technical drawing understanding/interpretation.

o             strong planning & organisation skills, with experience in use of systems (including ERP/MRP & excel) to support these.

o             strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

o             good numeracy skills, with high attention to detail and methodical in approach

o             organised with ability to manage a demanding workload

o             the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, adapting quickly & easily to changing working demands.

o             the ability to work in a logical, systematic manner.
