Production Manager (PM) – Job

Production Manager Job (£Salary – Neg. depending on experience/skills/qualifications)

Responsibilities

  • planning, & organising of production schedules
  • work closely with and support factory manager on direct production and production team matters
  • liaise with clients on project/design requirements
  • product design (CAD & CAM)
  • monitoring of client delivery requirements
  • manage production element of CRM system
  • co-ordination of general production information to company
  • planning job timescales
  • monitor is cost effective/efficient production
  • quality standards/expectation are met
  • review worker performance and develop production team motivation
  • work with directors/managers to implement the company’s policies and goals
  • work with factory manager to ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
  • work with factory manager to identify and fulfil training requirements
  • organise and manage materials purchase

Key Skills:

  • planning & organisational skills
  • CAD is essential (CAM is also ideal)
  • strong leadership skills
  • to be able run and monitor the production process (through CRM/ICT systems)
  • the ability to act decisively and solve client/production related problems
  • the capacity to grasp design and manufacturing concepts easily
  • attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
  • the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team, managers and clients
  • the ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines
  • the ability to work in a logical, systematic manner
