Foam Expo Conference 2021
Come and see Nick to be part of the discussion on
Expanding Production Capacity and Addressing Raw Material Availability to Foster Industry Resilience
The post-covid recovery has begun with industry sectors such as automotive bouncing back and expanding their production. It is therefore vital for the foam and adhesives supply chain to meet the demand and grow with the opportunity. However, the opportunity for growth coincides with a raw materials shortage which reportedly is affecting as many as 90% of plastics converters across Europe. Whilst not all of these companies deal directly with foams and adhesives this statistic helps to emphasise the extent of the shortage. This panel discussion will bring together industry experts to explore how to best deal with the raw material supply challenges whilst also taking advantage of the post-covid bounce back and accelerated manufacturing demand.
Points to be discussed:
- Exploring how best to increase production post-pandemic and the rising demand for raw materials
- Understanding the implications of recent raw material supply shortages and the implications for the foam and adhesives supply chain
- Finding ways to diversify the supply chain and avoid the further inflation of raw material premiums
