Reticulated foam is a low density and extremely porous foam. This foam allows liquid to pass freely through it. This quick-dry foam features very few to no bubbles or cell windows. The foam works almost live a sieve in that liquid particles pass through the foam with no moisture retained.
Kewell Converters are specialist in the batch production of high-quality foam and we can produce reticulated foam for all kinds of purposes. We work with many different industries and can produce large amounts of reticulated foam suitable for all kinds of products. It is ideal for cushioning in outdoor products such as outdoor furniture, boat seating or outdoor sports equipment and padding. This water repellent foam is available in a range of different grades.
Reticulated foam dries very quickly as opposed to regular types of polyurethane foam. These other types of foam tend to absorb water and means they dry very slowly and become heavy. Because these types of foam absorb and hold onto water, they also break down much faster than reticulated foams and deteriorate at a quicker rate. This means the foam will wear down much quicker and it will need to be replaced much sooner than a porous reticulated foam.
